Welcome to the Agricultural Economics Society of Ireland (AESI) website.
The aim of the AESI is to promote knowledge in relation to agricultural and food production, natural resources. the bioeconomy, and rural development. The society also aims to connect academics, professionals, policy makers, and industry representatives.
Meetings

The AESI hosts regular meetings to promote knowledge, inform policy and stakeholders and support new researchers. The next Early Career AESI meeting will take place in Teagasc Ashtown in February 2023. You can find out more about it here

Verena Scherfranz from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU) Vienna won the Bob O’ Connor prize for the best presentation of a postgraduate researcher at the 2022 AESI conference.
